No pictures - -Just words and testimony. What an incredible experience. It is so neat to see all these young elders and sisters. We are tired but blessed beyond measure. We went home this weekend to help Carolyn move into our house. We spent some time with her and Biya and Kaya. We tended Kaya on Saturday night while they went to a REAL soccer game. Then church on Sunday morning..Members of the ward were curious why we were there. Had to explain that we had only completed 1 week of a 2 week training. On the way back to Provo tonight I made the comment to Sister Moore that as much fun as it was to be home for a few hours, it felt good to be going back to the MTC ---that's the place we should be at this time.
We have had a week-long spiritual feast. From the inspirational congregational singing, the great lessons from our well-trained teachers, the role play situations by volunteers from the community, to the devotional address by an apostle, Elder Oaks. Especially interesting was the testimony meeting with all the senior missionaries who have been studying a foreign language. We each bore a testimony in our new language, and it was a proud moment for Elder Moore. We have learned many things, but the two that stand out are that we can do it and that we make a great companionship. It is incredible that we could make such good friends in such a short time with the other senior couples. We are truly blessed to be able to share this experience. One more week and then it's on to Holland.
